What is the Bound EZINE? – This link will take you to the BOUND EZINE. This is a free E-zine which will contain short stories, current events, discussion forums, beauty tips, and advice columns. Stay up to date on the latest Lesbian events in your local community.

How does Quick Search work? - Quick Search allows you to search the BOUND database for your match within a certain number of miles or kilometers from your zip code. Simply enter the criteria that you want to search for in a woman and then the distance that you are willing to drive.

How can I make a Friend Request? – While on the member’s page, click on Befriend. A request will be sent to the member on your behalf. You can keep track of your friend requests by going to My Account/My Activity tab. If you click on Friend Requests you can see those requests that you have made to other members, as well as those requests that you have pending to accept or deny. If your request is accepted, you will receive an email confirming your friend request.

How can I change my profile information? – Your profile allows you to control all aspects of your account at BOUND Date. The Golden Key next to all your Profile Sections allows you to control the Privacy setting for each section.

Each section in your profile can be set to be viewed by:
1. Only by you,
2. By the public,
3. By all members,
4. Only by Friends.

Within the Profile section you can click on Edit to the right and you will be taken to the Edit Profile section where all the personal information that you entered when signing up resides. If any changes are made to your information, please make sure to click on Save before you leave this screen.

How can I change my password? – On the login screen click on Forgot Password. The next screen will prompt you for the email that you used when you registered at BOUND Date. Enter the Captcha and click on Retrieve my information. You will receive an email message to your private email with instructions on how to retrieve your password.

Why do you need so much information? – The information that we are collecting during the sign-in process will help us in making the best matches for you. The more information that you provide the better the match that we will be able to suggest to you.

How can I add a new Profile Picture? – To add a profile picture to your account click on My Account/My Profile Pic tab. Under Current Profile Pic, click on Browse to select the picture you wish to upload. Once your picture uploads it will appear beneath the Browse section with the Cropping Tool. Move the cropping tool to select the part of the picture you want, then click Add Profile Pic.

How can I add Photos to my profile? – You can manage your photos on BOUND Date into different albums. To create an Album, go to Profile/Photos tab. Click on Add to create a new Album. Follow the on screen prompts to Name and set a Description of your new album. You can set the security for your album on the drop down menu that says… Allow viewing album to: Me Only, Public, Members, Friends, Allow Access Requests, Customize. Allow Access Requests allows you to control who sees the album. A member can send you a request that they are interested in viewing your album and it is up to you to share the album.
Once your album has been created you will be redirected to the Files Upload Page. At this screen, you will be allowed to browse for the pictures that you wish to add to your album.

How can I delete or suspend my account? – As a BOUND Date member you have two options to disable your BOUND Date account. You have the option to Suspend your account, which means that your account will be temporarily unavailable for search and contact. Suspending your account will make your profile inactive but your information will not be deleted from the BOUND Date system. You can suspend your account by going to My Account tab and clicking on Suspend in the Profile Status.
As a BOUND Date member you also have the option of “unregistering” your profile. By unregistering your account, you will be deleting your account information. Your information will no longer remain on the website, in our database and members will no longer be able to view or contact you. Deleting your account is a permanent action. You can “Unregister” your account by going to My Account/Unregister tab.

How do I make sure that the correct city is in my profile? – The city associated with your account can be changed or verified by going to the Edit Profile section of the website.

Who is on my Flirt List? To find those women that you have flirted with or those that have flirted with you, go to My Account/My Activity tab and click on Flirt List. You have two radio buttons that will allow you to see those that have flirted with you and those you have sent flirts to.

How can I remove someone from my Flirt List? - In the My Account/My Activity tab click on Flirt List. You will have a list of members that you have Flirted with. Check the box to the left of the picture and click on Delete. This will remove this member from your Flirt List.

Who is on my Hot List? To find those women that you have Hot Listed or those that have Hot Listed you, go to My Account/My Activity tab and click on Hot List. You have two radio buttons that will allow you to see those that have Hot Listed you and those you have Hot Listed.

How can I remove someone from my Hot List? - In the My Account/My Activity tab click on Hot Lists. You will have a list of members that you have Hot Listed. Check the box to the left of the picture and click on Delete. This will remove this member from your Hot List.

Who is my friend? To find those women that you have Befriended or those that have Befriended you, go to My Account/My Activity tab and click on Friends. You have two radio buttons that will allow you to see those that have Befriended you and those you have Befriended.

How can I remove someone from my Friends? - In the My Account/My Activity tab click on Friends. You will have a list of members that are your Friends. Check the box to the left of the picture and click on Delete. This will remove this member from your list of Friends.

Who has blocked me? To find those women that you have Blocked or those that have Blocked you, go to My Account/My Activity tab and click on Block List. You have two radio buttons that will allow you to see those that have Blocked you and those you have Blocked.

What is Private Photo Access List? The Private Photo Access List is a list of those women that you have given permission to view your private photo albums. You can find these lists in My Account/My Activity tab.

What is Private Photo Access Request? The Private Photo Access Request is a list of those women that have made requests to view your private photo albums or the requests that you have made to other members to view their private photo albums. You can find these lists in My Account/My Activity tab.

My photo won’t upload onto the site. – If a problem occurs during the upload of your photo, an error message will appear telling you what your next step should be to correct the problem. If the problem persists, please contact the site administrator at webmaster@bounddate.com.

How can I send a message? – An email message can be sent within the site by clicking on the My Mail tab and then selecting the compose link. The “To:” field should contain the member username of the member you are trying to message.

How do I block a user from emailing me? – While in the member’s profile, click on the Block link and all contact between you and this user will cease.

I’m having trouble with the Video Chat? In order to start a video conversation, you must first click on the Play button which says Cast Video. For the audio component, you must click on the audio button which says Cast Audio. If the system does not find your web cam, click on the Camera Settings Button that will search for the available cameras connected to your system. How can I report inappropriate behavior in the chat room? – Inappropriate behavior in a chat room can be reported by email to the following email address: abuse@bounddate.com.
